An introduction to the basic principles of risk management in the public sector.
This course has been designed to provide those attending with a basic yet comprehensive understanding of the essential building blocks of the risk management process.

The training is a mixture of formal teaching and practical exercises using recent real-life case studies. Attendees will be encouraged to discuss their organisations approach to risk management, raise issues and share practical solutions. No prior knowledge of risk management is required, however for the online version of the course there is some pre-course and offline work exercises to complete.
The online course will be delivered via Zoom. Due to the nature of the course, pre-course work will need to be completed prior to attendance and the course information is attached. Please also note that modules 1 and 2 must be taken on consecutive days.
This course is FREE to attend for full members only and priority will be given to named members.
