2011 Learning & Development Forum

Alarm, the public risk management association
has launched the 2011 Alarm Learning &
Development Forum.
This year’s event is designed to support the
learning and development needs of those managing risk in public
services. The programme contains over 40 hours of educational
sessions and networking opportunities, and features keynote
sessions and workshops delivered by public risk practitioners and
experts.
“The 2011 Alarm Learning
& Development Forum offers a wide range of educational
sessions including workshops, talks and lectures aimed at the
seasoned professional as well as the newcomer to public risk
management” said Alarm CEO Dr Lynn Drennan.
In the wake of the Comprehensive Spending Review
many public services face the challenge of doing more with less,
and risk management plays a key role in ensuring that organisations
are ready to tackle the issues that will arise from this situation.
The 2011 Alarm Learning & Development
Forum aims to address these and other key issues through a
programme that will provide guidance, highlight successful case
studies and help enhance technical capabilities that may mitigate
such risks.
