2016 Alarm Chairman's Charity: Prostate Cancer UK

This year Alarm Chairman, Wayne Rigby has again chosen to support Prostate Cancer UK as the Chairman’s Charity.

Prostate cancer affects approximately 1 in every 8 men in the UK, Prostate Cancer UK is the leading charity in the UK for men with prostate cancer and prostate problems and aim to help more men survive the cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. The charity has three main priorities:

- Supporting men and providing information
- Finding answers by funding research
- Leading change to raise awareness and improve care.

Attendees at the Alarm Risk Awards dinner can join the Chairman in supporting this worthwhile Charity, simply by entering a donation into the Alarm Charity prize draw.

Alarm Member, Paul Lawrence cycles to Conference...again

Whether attending Conference or not, you can also support Prostate Cancer UK by supporting Alarm Member, Paul Lawrence who is again cycling to the Conference in support of the Chairman’s Charity.

Having cycled to Manchester in 2014 over three days (he had a day off in between), Paul has made his journey more challenging by aiming to cycle 100+ miles from Hertfordshire on Saturday afternoon and then the remaining 80+ miles on Sunday, via the (very hilly!) Peak District National Park.

Sadly the uncle he was riding for last time has since lost his battle, so this is a cause that is particularly personal to him and all donations would be appreciated, especially if you are not attending Conference. Please donate via Paul's Just Giving page.

Also, if anyone would like to join Paul on some or all of his journey, please get in contact with him: his details available via the Member search.
