Events

ALARM events are provided free of charge for our members. Occasionally, events may incur an attendance fee, at the discretion of ALARM. Any fees will be included in the event details on the website.

Event cancellation

Any member unable to attend an event should send written notice to the ALARM Office at least seven days before the event. Failure to do so will result in a charge of £75 for one day seminars or £100 for ALARM courses.

Conference cancellation

Any member unable to attend the ALARM Conference or Scotland Conference should send written notice to the ALARM Office at least ten days before the event. Failure to do so will result in a charge for £150. 

Membership fees

Our payment terms are 21 days from the issue date of the invoice. Membership fees are non-refundable. Failure to pay will result in membership cancellation and removal of access to the website.

Membership cancellation

Failure to notify ALARM in writing of membership cancellation within four weeks of the membership expiration date will result in pro-rata membership cancellation charges or a minimum cancellation fee of £50 +VAT (whichever is greater).

Membership amendments

Named members may be replaced without charge once every 12 months as a result of redundancy, maternity leave, leave of absence or organisational restructuring. Replacements are not permitted for the purpose of substitution at the ALARM Conference. Subsequent changes of named members will incur a charge of £50 +VAT.

Job adverts

Any organisation can purchase advertising space on our website. Member organisations receive a discounted rate. If your organisation uses a recruitment agency, you will be charged the full rate. For more detail about placing an advert, visit the jobs board. 

Unless otherwise stated, payments are in British Pound Sterling (GBP). Our online payments are powered by WorldPay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and JCB. Full payment details can be found on your invoice.
