Effective approaches for reviewing policy via workshop approach, and embedding and energising risk management

We are about to review our Risk Policy, Strategy and risk appetite statement – with the preference being for a facilitated workshop approach. The aim is to agree documents that are more reflective of our current risks, challenges and organisational approach, AND to engage, embed and energise active risk management throughout the organisation.

My question is, have you tackled any of this recently, and if so, do you have any advice, suggestions or resources that you could point me towards?

Hi Joanne, haven't tackled

Hi Joanne, haven't tackled that as such recently, however we have been successful in getting risk management added as a core topic (half day session), for our two management development programmes (ASPIRE - for supervisors, team leaders, middle management; LEADERS of the FUTURE for senior managers). It is a heavy commitment to deliver but is great for generating enthusiasm for risk management again.
