One Snowhill, Snow Hill Queensway, Birmingham. B4 6GA

We are pleased to invite you to our seminar Heinz 57 of risk management taking place on Tuesday 8 October 2019, a short walk from Birmingham New Street Train Station.

Sessions include:

Silent cyber: Solving the jigsaw - Ben Geffen, Marsh

Silent cyber is a term used to describe non-affirmative cyber coverage that may be present in traditional policies. It has been a hot topic in the London market for some time and causes uncertainty for insurers, clients and even regulators. This presentation aims to provide clarity on which policies provide the most appropriate solution for companies who are looking to manage their cyber exposures through the insurance market.

Introducing the `ART` of risk transfer - Mike Matthews, Artex Risk Solutions

The risk financing options to blue light organisations is evolving and whilst many organisations continue to see the benefit of traditional insurance solutions to transfer risk, there are further possibilities via alternative risk transfer (ART). Mike, Commercial Director at Artex Risk Solutions (a Gallagher company) will discuss the fundamentals of ART solutions and the key differences between insurance and mutual risk transfer. There will be insight into the various ways organisations can seek to organise their ART solution to best meet their needs.

Blue light risk management model – Stuart Gemmell, Edison Motor

Stuart will discuss how to achieve an effective and cohesive driving risk control programme for operational blue light driving, that incorporates pro-active monitoring of individual driver performance through telemetry and effective communication and response to driving data produced.

Risk management system demonstration - Mark Euerby and Ellen Stone, Derbyshire Constabulary and Gavin Stark, Keto Software

KETO is a newly developed risk management software produced for Derbyshire and Leicestershire forces. The system is intuitive and easy to navigate with fully customisable reporting. The risk register can be viewed in either table or graph format and can be filtered to show the risks allocated to either a user or specific division/department with the facility to also restrict access to sensitive risks.

Simon is the Organisational Learning and Risk Manager for Warwickshire & West Mercia Police. He has previously been ALARM Risk Manager of the Year and has been awarded a commendation by his Chief Constable for his work with organisational learning.
