For me personally there are a few reasons:
- simply forgetting that it is available
- lots of other sources of information
- I couldn't find any functionality to alert me to new posts, more visibility or detail in the weekly Alarm What's On email might help
- at the moment even when I do remember its simply having the time!
Much as helenturner4629 states has great potential but email alerts on new postings, replies etc would help.
I post whenever I think others may be able to help but do not receive many responses, I'm also guilty of not looking on here often enough and by the time I see something I could have commented on the time has usually passed
