Managing contractual, strategic and procurement risk in the modern public sector
Gallagher's Winter seminar looks at how public sector risks continue to change and what can be done to protect your organisations.
Starting with a session on how contracts can support better risk management through the life cycle of a contract, how those contracts should be reviewed over time and the remedies available for poor performance.
Then the Gallagher Construction team will deliver a session focused on project insurance for employers which will give an overview of owner controlled insurance programmes (OCIP), core and non-core project insurance for employers, dealing with contractors and consideration for works carried out on existing structures.
As your organisations change, it is essential you ensure your planning changes with it. Their presentation later in the afternoon will highlight strategic issues and considerations when planning, implementing and reviewing business continuity plans and procedures.
Furthermore a session will be delivered by a procurement specialist to discuss the new National Procurement Strategy and how the more commercial approach advocated in the strategy dovetails with the needs of public contract regulations. There will also be a view on how public contract regulations may change after Brexit.
Finally the essential 'state of the market' review will be provided addressing issues facing the market today and near future.
