With the high numbers of COVID-19-related deaths in care homes, health and social care providers may be vulnerable to future legal action.   

Anthony will explore how the social care sector has been impacted by the pandemic and the potential causes for future civil claims. He will provide strategies to defend any future claims. Similar evidence in respect of inquests and regulatory action by the Care Quality Commission will also be required. 

You will learn how to successfully defend COVID-19 claims in a care home setting in respect of breach of duty and causation.
